9/7/08 A view of the house from a
different angle
9/7/08 The roof has been completely
sheeted and is now being shingled as
you can see above the garage and
porch.  The contractors forklift is back
so they can finish sheeting the high
places.

9/12/08 This week the most apparent
progress is windows and doors.   Also
the area above the windows and some
other areas on the back side of the
house have been sheeted.
9/28/08 In two weeks much progress
has been made. The framers and
roofers are finished. Windows are all
installed, gable over hangar is shetted
and eye brow built.
9/28/08 Inside the balcony is finished.
Notice that the balcony support is
suspended from the roof trusses. this
eliminates the post in the living rool
floor to balcony.
9/28/08 The fireplace is framed floor to
ceiling.
9/28/08 In the basement the HVAC
trunk line is installed.
The hay field has been mowed and
raked (Not that I had anything to do
with that.) Beyond the trees the corn is
ready for harvest.
9/28/08 View of the back side of the
house. Watch that first step. There will
eventually be a deck here.
10/6/08 Digging for the geothermal
heat pump system. This ditch will be 3'
wide 6' deep and 500 feet long. Three
pipes laid in at 6' deep and return at 3'
deep. There will be another ditch 300'
long. One 5 ton heat pump, the other 3
ton.
10/9/08 Gravel leveled in hangar
preparing for the concrete. Also gravel
for ramp and apron area so we don't
have to wade through so much mud.
10/14/08 Electric and plumbing rough
in are going very well
10/14/08 White pipe is water line the
two black pipes are geothermal. The
black pipe  out and return branch into
3 separate pipe about 20 feet out
10/14/08 Back side of house.
10/14/08 Pouring the hangar floor.
11/1/08 Brick work is nearly complete.
With good weather it will be done this
week. I have been trying to get some
estimates on doing the vinyl work on
the gables and upstairs.
11/1/08 I have started working on the hangar doors Nine of the eleven
panels are assembled and the track is installed. Much work to go to have a
working hangar door
Electric roughin is about done. Almost
4000 ft of 12/2 romax wire and that
does not count special wire for all the
220 and three way switches.
